| Founded in 1990, Sogefibre is a subsidiary of SGN, itself a subsidiary of AREVA NC, a member of the AREVA GROUP. |

| Container design and manufacture |
 |
| Sogefibre designs and manufactures fiber-reinforced concrete containers for low- and medium-level radioactive waste.
Its highly automated plant in Valognes, Normandy, produces two basic containers, one cylindrical, the other cubical. The plant production capacity is 12,000 containers per year. |
