Design of a container production plant for Slovakia

Sogefibre provided engineering support to Slovakian utility Slovenské Elektrárne during the design and construction of a fiber-reinforced container manufacturing plant. Sogefibre's contribution included:

			preliminary design of the plant,
			production support based on local constituents,
			supply of production equipment, and
			training of Slovak personnel.

The plant, located in Trnava, started up in 1997 and has an annual production capacity of 500 CBF-K containers.

The CBF-K containers are used for a variety of solid and cement-solidified liquid waste. The containers are filled at the Bohünice site and stored at the Mochovce site.
